Vaclav Klaus does not agree with the advocates of the harmonization (a homogenization) integration model which is based on unification, orchestrated by the EU authorities, with the aim of leveling out all aspects of life for all Europeans and to do it in a supranational entity. He rather agrees with the advocates of the liberalization model of European integration – primarily based on the intergovernmental cooperation of individual European countries (this means significant control of the political, social and economical system in their own hands and the removal of all unnecessary barriers to human activities existing on the borders of states).
