Politische Aufgaben

1.) ECHTE Subsidiarität einführen

Our vision of European cooperation is based on the principles of real subsidiarity and flexible integration within an interstate framework. This means that political decisions are taken at the lowest possible level. It should be up to individual countries to decide at what level decisions should be made. There are many remaining matters left that are better managed on the higher EU level.

2.) Vielfältigkeit aufrecht erhalten und flexibler werden

Diversity is a valuable quality in a political community, particularly evident in Europe. Yet diversity will not survive if the flexibility it requires is refused by an EU-typical 'one size fits all' approach to member states. Flexible integration means that countries with shared interests in one policy area can agree to cooperate in that particular area, without the need to impose those policies on every single member state.

3.) Demokratische Kontrolle innerhalb transparenter Strukturen

We will work for an improved right-of-access principle to be applied to all EU institutions, creating the transparency that is clearly needed in order to establish democratic control over the EU. The massive number of fraud cases across the Union indicates a serious flaw in the system. The growing democratic deficit that needs urgently to be addressed.
